August 20, 2000  DVD's VS. DUB by: Son Tew--

Well, here's what I'm thinking at the moment.  The dub has better improve soon.  You see, the DVD's are amazing and have a great translation.  Yet the dub translates everything at a "kiddie" level.  The dub music sets a completely different (and weird) mood for the show, and finally, the voices don't fit to their original characters.  See, the thing is, is that before, the dub was all that was commercially available to the US public.....but now the DVDs are available.  Since the original form and music are now available, many people are sure to forget about the dub and stick to the DVDs.  There aren't many reasons for people to stick just to the dub anymore when you have a superior format available.  So all I'm saying is that Funimation, for its own good, should really put more effort into the dub, or they might cause themselves to fail....and we all want DBZ to stay in the US.....

(By the way, sorry for the briefness, but I just had a second to write this....expect longer ones soon!)
